I am pleased and excited to announce that on May 26th legendary singer/songwriter Claude Butch Morgan will be in the studio. 

For you novices out there, Mr. Morgan's songs have been covered by artists such as The Georgia Satellites. the Dusters, the Flying A's, Mitch Web & the Swindles and others. He has won several notable songwriting awards including The Wildflower Music Festrival Song Writing Contest, finalist in the Mountain Stage New Song Competition 08', finalist at the Kerrville Folk Festival Newfolk Contest (05' & 08'), and honorable mention in the recent Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest.

The latest big news is that Mr. Morgan will be with his band at the upcoming 2012 Kerrville Folk Festival (May 24 - June 10, 2012) on June 1st on the main stage.

We will talk about his music, his influences, hopefully get him to play a few tunes, and if time allows, perhaps he can bring some music that he digs listening too. 

So mark your calendars for May 26th at 10 PM on KOOK 93.5 in Junction and KERV1230 AM in Kerrville, and of course, as always, streaming on the world wide web baby!
